January 8th – Storing & Organizing Beekeeping Supplies w/ David Holloman & Dues

Happy 2024! We hope you had a SWEET New Year! Our bees are busy staying warm inside their hives…and so are we–burrrr it’s cold outside! With the turn of the calendar we are reminded it’s time to collect 2024 dues. Please bring your $20 dues (cash or check preferred) to our next meeting.

Let’s talk about storing & organizing all your beekeeping supplies…David Hollomon is a Georgia Master Beekeeper. He volunteers for Lee Arrendale Prison’s beekeeping program alongside Julia Mahood and Virginia Webb. David is also part of the “Hives for Heroes” program and is currently mentoring a US Army veteran, and he is an active member of the Tri-county Bee club. David has several hobbies and is currently studying bladesmithing and leather work. David and his wife, Regina, sell honey and hive products from their small apiary.

This event will be held at North Georgia Technical College 1500 HWY197, Clarkesville, GA 30523. This course is FREE to all NEGAMBA members. Annual club dues are only $20/yr for a family membership. We’ll get together at 6:00pm for dinner in the Ramsey Hunter dining hall ($10.00). Class begins at 6:30pm. Not a member yet??? No problem, just show up to our meeting (your first meeting is free) and we will get you signed up!
