April 20 – Harold Lanier: The Many Ways of Splitting (Your Colonies!)

It’s that time of your again–time to split, split, and split again! UGA Master Beekeeper and owner of Lanier Bee Barn, Harold Lanier, is our April speaker. Harold will discuss several different ways of splitting so you can use a technique that works best for your situation. Harold has 15+ years of beekeeping experience and manages 100+ hives (you better believe he used those splitting techniques he’s going to talk about to get to 100+ hives!

This event will be held at North Georgia Technical College 1500 HWY197, Clarkesville, GA 30523. This meeting is FREE to all NEGAMBA members. Annual club dues are only $20/yr for a family membership.

We’ll get together at 6:00pm for dinner in the Ramsey Hunter dining hall ($10). Class begins at 6:30pm.
