May 20th – Raising Queens and Making Splits by Steven Page

Steven Page has 17 years of treatment-free beekeeping experience and manages 60 to 90 colonies in Coweta County, Georgia.  After years of costly purchases of colonies and queens, resulting in poor performance, Steven developed Coweta Sustainable Beekeeping in 2014, a simple, sustainable, and inexpensive method for small beekeepers.

Steven will help us learn a simple way to raise queens and make splits so we won’t need to purchase queens, nucs, or packages any more.  This is for a first-year beekeeper who just started a colony and everyone else too!
